I've nothing interesting to be shared but I just wanna share about one of my achievements last year.
2017 was an unforgettable year as it was my last year in high school, staying at 'beloved hostel' and the best senior year ever! (Although we've been through a lot of trials and tribulation😒)
Here the story goes:
Cikgu Lela asked us to join a competition called Pertandingan Esei Nano Teknologi (PENT) in conjunction of National Innovation Competition and Exhibition (NICE) organised by Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation (MOSTI). The theme for the essay was 'Nanoteknologi Pada Tahun 2050' and we need to write a short story that suits the theme and it must be within 1000-1500 words.(srsly the word limit sucks)
Luckily, we were given the opportunity to go home that week and I took this golden chance to do research and brainstorm to create an interesting short story (thanks a lot mr.google)
I didn't take a long time to think about the story since I have quite lots of knowledge about nano technology. How did I get those knowledge? Haaaa thanks to SMSSMJ Innovation Team for having me as one of the team. I learnt a lot during our research for our new project, AgBacS 1.0 at UiTM Permatang Pauh and UiTM Bertam.
FYI, Haziq and I represented our school to present the project in Malaysian International Young Inventors Olympiad (MIYIO) and competed with friends from Malaysia and other countries such as Indonesia, Tajikistan etc. We've sacrificed a lot for this project; we missed a few classes at school, we argued a lot, our money, precious time with friends like during Hari Sukan Sekolah (I couldn't join my house parade, I'm sorry Temenggung😂)

Not to forget, special thanks to SMSSMJ Innovation Team Teacher Advisor, Teacher Zuraini, Salawati, Noraini and other teacher who've been helping us a lot to make this project a reality. We're really sorry coz we could only manage to get silver award and not gold like what all of you expected. Sorry again, we've tried our best. (This was the sad part huhuhu😢) But we really hope that Ag-BacS 2.0 will bring back your joy. With some modificafion and improvement, it becomes a reality when our junior team got the first place in Kedah Innovation Competition which has qualified them to compete in an innovation competition in Taiwan. There, they got gold award and special award from Korea. We're happy for them😀
Okay, back to the story, I wrote a short story entitled 'Canceno' and it's the name of a very tiny robot with the size 10^-9 metre (nanometre). The story reveals about the life of a senior scientist with three young scientist who are in the searching of an antidot for cancer and experimenting it on human. Then, the betrayal began and the truth seems very heartbreaking yet unexpected by the senior scientist. What I love about Canceno is it has the friendship and family element which are very close to me. (It's not wrong okay to be proud of your own masterpiece eheheh)
After sending the story, my life at hostel and school were as usual until one day, I received a call from my sister. Lup dub lup dub. My heart was racing faster than usual. Did sth happened? I get rid of those bad thoughts and answered her call. Surprise!!! I were in the top three list for the competition and I was on cloud nine eventhough I didn't know how the actual result is. The organiser told me to attend the closing and price-giving caremony in Bukit Jalil. After a few dramas, Sofia( she accompanied me since I don't have partner), Hawa, Thirush, Cikgu Lela, Cikgu Tharwar and me went to KL with our school van. It took hours before we reach Universiti Putra Malaysia (we stayed here and the room was really comfort. Thanks UPM heheh).
The next morning, we packed our things and put them in the van and we waited for our special bus to go to the caremony. Upon reaching the venue, it started to rain. (Hujan rahmat maybe eheheh) We ran into the venue and we were given time to explore the booths there. It was an amazing experience being at the expo and I'll never forget it.
It was the time for the price giving caremony. Hawa and Thirush got saguhati. Lup dub lup dub...
"The first place goes to....Noor Syahirah Binti Shuhaimi from Sultan Mohamad Jiwa Science Secondary School !!! Congrats"
I couldn't believe it. I succeed. I got the first place. Really? I thought that my short story would never get a place in this competition but I was totally wrong. I did it. Alhamdulillah.

It's true after all, if we are sincere in doing sth, good things will surely happen.
